W/M Models Inc. follows the developments in our model's career by providing advice and counsel in all the matters related to the model’s business.

W/M Models is authorized to negotiate, approve and permit, on each model’s behalf, the use of his/her image; to bill, execute and collect all of his/her business related bills of exchange, cheques and notes, and to collect all of the agreed payments, eventually providing the necessary legal actions finalized to the protection of the model’s interests.

W/M Models is also entitled to negotiate and execute, on behalf of the models, whatsoever document, agreement or contract related to his/her professional career. The work that the model accepts is performed as an independent contractor and the model is consequently responsible for payment of his/her own income taxes.

Models may be booked by the hour, half day or day.  Minimum booking time is one hour.  W/M Models, on behalf of the models represented, negotiates separately and independently the rates of each of them.  As the basic rate is referred exclusively of the effective booking time, any further usage of the model’s image must be specifically negotiated and approved by W/M Models.

The Client must specify to W/M Models prior to the booking the type of lingerie.  W/M Models must therefore consult the model before any definite confirmation of the booking itself.

The client must always provide private changing facilities on all bookings, including locations.

W/M Models reserves the right to cancel an option and allow other secondary bookings to take precedence if the Client does not exercise its option to confirm or release a booking within 48 hours from the agreed date.

All booking rates are based on a supposed effective working time of 8 hours,  including all necessary time for make up, hairdressing and styling, excluding a lunch break.

Before 8:00 A.M. and after 6:00 P.M. or after the mentioned 8 hour period, W/M Models has the right to bill overtime, calculated on the basis of one and one-half times the agreed rate if specific agreements have not been previously negotiated between the Client and W/M Models.

Sundays are calculated and billed on the basis of one and one-half times the agreed rate.  Statutory Holidays are calculated and billed on the basis of two times the agreed rate.  Production(s), special or charitable events are negotiable.

The necessary travel time for the model, to and from the booking location, when outside the Greater Toronto Area, is billed on the basis of half the agreed rate.  
The full rate is applied to all eventual fittings. All weather permitting bookings must be specified in advance.

The Client must specify in advance if the booking involves more than one model.

The photographs taken during such sessions are to be used only for the magazine the model is booked for.

Within 48 hours prior to the booking date; half rate applies.  Within 24 hours: full rate applies.

The eventual cancellation of trips or multiple day bookings must be made at least 5 days before the agreed booking date.  Otherwise, W/M Models has the right to bill the Client for the full agreed rate.

The cancellation of weather permitting bookings, up to 24 hours in advance, including the day of supposed booking is billed at half the agreed rate.

Any kind of advertising involving one of the model’s image and/or name must be specifically negotiated through W/M Models at the time of the booking: no usage of the model’s image and/or name on ads, products, packaging, billboards, posters, internet, point of sale, in-store print material (including posters, rack cards, dura trans, style booklets, window displays etc.) garments (T-shirts, hang tags, flashers), retail print advertising (direct mail materials, retail newspaper ads, inserts, catalogs, flyers, C.D. Roms etc.) or TV spots will not be tolerated without written consent from W/M Models.

The model may not sign any photographic release nor, may the photographer use or sell in whatsoever way the photographs resulting from such sessions, without previous specific agreements with W/M Models.

Buyouts must be negotiated in advance through W/M Models.

Photographs involving model's image and/or name are not to be used for billboards, posters, packages or exposure product endorsement or any other purpose other than originally intended and agreed upon by all parties involved; unless fees are specifically negotiated and all model releases are presented to W/M Models in advance of all bookings, including any future model release for usage.

Consent to use model photographs taken is good for a period terminating 12 months from the date of model release; unless an extended period is negotiated with W/M Models, use after expiring date is subject to same charges, for same length of time.

Any release signed by a model independently is not valid unless agreed and acknowledged through written consent by W/M Models.  All other releases are not valid unless countersigned by W/M Models.  Any and all model releases are void until payment is received from Client in full.

*All releases are to be received by W/M Models 72 hours in advance to any and all bookings.

An Agency Commission of 20% is charged by W/M Models on all of the booking rates and on all of the agreed buyouts as compensation for its intermediation service.  All invoices are payable upon receipt.  A late fee per month will be applied to all invoices not paid within 30 days.  All services and bookings are subject to G.S.T.
